Dr. Alissa Anthony is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to her patients. With over 3.5 years of experience in the field, Dr. Anthony has a wealth of knowledge and expertise to offer her patients. She is the lead dentist at 815 Dental Studio, where her entire team reflects her smiling, patient-focused, and passionate approach to oral health.

Dr. Anthony's educational and professional background in dentistry began at the University of Connecticut, where she completed her undergraduate education in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2019.

Dr. Anthony's approach to patient care is centered on treating the person as a whole, with a focus on preventive dentistry through patient education. She believes that no dentistry is the best dentistry, and is dedicated to educating her patients on the oral-systemic connection. In cases where damage has already been done to the teeth and oral diseases are present, Dr. Anthony treats the mouth as a whole, aiming to treat the root cause of issues rather than patching a person up tooth by tooth. She believes that everyone deserves the smile they desire, and designs smiles to fit each person's face.

Dr. Anthony is highly proficient in an array of professional expertise, including crowns and bridges, endodontics, extractions, pediatric dental care, restorative implants and composites, and dentures. Under her guidance, 815 Dental Studio practice offers comprehensive treatment plans and care for all ages.

She is also dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry and providing continuing education opportunities for all of her team. She leads her practice by giving back to the community in many ways, the team sponsors and participates in many local events in Cherry Valley and Rockford and celebrates each other and their patients.

Dr. Anthony is a member of the American Dental Association and the Illinois State Dental Society. In 2019, she won the Quintessence Award for Esthetic Dentistry from Southern Illinois University.

Outside of her busy dental practice, Dr. Anthony enjoys traveling, boating, cooking, and spending time with her three sisters. She also has a Frenchie named Angus, and she is always happy to share pictures of Angus and her latest travel adventures.

Dr. Anthony's practice is unique in that she is one of the few general dentists in the area who is willing and able to treat full mouth rehabs.
