At your evaluation, we start by capturing digital images of your teeth and your mouth. These images become the foundation in designing your personalized plan. Once your treatment plan is established, we introduce the amazing technology. A 3D CAD/CAM system uses those digital images to design a series of plastic trays that deliberately push or pull your teeth, much like traditional braces. We can also use this technology to show you an image of your corrected smile before we even begin.

Based on our goals and your treatment plan, you will be provided the trays that are to be rotated out and replaced every two weeks. Each tray is created to meticulously move a tooth or teeth, .25 millimeters at a time. You receive slow and methodical movement without the discomfort associated with metal braces. We will schedule an appointment every two months to monitor your improvements and to confirm that we are on schedule.

It is imperative, to accomplish the goals designed into your plan, that you must wear your aligners at least 20-22 hours a day. The benefit of being removable can easily be abused. The longer they are out of your mouth, the longer you will be extending the length of your entire procedure.
